How you can get involved

If you’d like to join, support, or partner with the Alumni-Student Group (in an active or advisorial capacity), or have a great idea and a little time to help us meet our mission, please send us an email or comment below!  We’d love to hear from you.

You can also participate by sending us ideas for links and announcements to be published on this blog.  You can also self-publish your announcements on the FacebookLinkedIn, and Plaza platforms.

Of course, it goes without saying that you can comment any time you want.  We appreciate both your support and your constructive criticism.

  1. Hello everybody,

I’m a MCP alum ’07 now working near Paris in a regional planning agency. Mary Jane has already sent several times current DUSPers to me for advice, so I’d be happy to join your committee, give advice or send people to other people I know who might help them, and share some thoughts about my work. Just let me know what I can do to get involved.

    Best,

    Philippe

I cannot figure if this is the way to post things on this blog. I was at DUSP from 2000 to 2007. PhD in international development. Have been working since mid 1990s with NGOs, UN, World Bank and currently with UN-Habitat in Afghanistan. Anyone interested in international development jobs (real ones, not sitting at a desk in NYC or DC), I’d be glad to give a hand.

So, to what extent do you want to get involved? Please send me an email at gpeditto[at]alum[dot]mit[dot]edu with your thoughts, location, and class year so that I know whether or not to add you to our contact list, if you’re available to help out, etc.

Can’t wait to hear from you soon!
